Commercial Roofers, Inc. Solar Project.

Commercial Roofers, Inc. recently installed a Solyandra Spectro 360 SL-001-173 Solar system on their office building roof.  The system is 16 panels dual sided, with an inverter box and the Capacity of 2.46 Kw.

This is the only dual sided solar system within the solar market. The benefit of this system is collecting the suns power from the top of the panel also with the reflective white roof it  collects sun light from underneath the system making this one of the more efficient systems available.  The system is light-weight and self ballasting (Meaning no penetrations in the existing roof system or attachments required). Solar is the newest green tool, it is the future for Commercial Building Roof tops.  Commercial Roofers, Inc. has committed to the Solyandra system and will also be installing a roll out membrane solar system on our office roof in 2011.  Commercial Roofers Inc. goal with the solar systems is to provide an opportunity to educate Building Owners, Property Managers, and Facility Directors on the benefits of having solar, the tax credits, and NV Energy Rebate programs that are available to them buy going green with Solar.
