Colliers International – Las Vegas, 2010’s Brokerage Firm of the Year, is the largest and one of the most successful commercial brokerage firms in Southern Nevada. This is the fifth year in a row Colliers Las Vegas has received this honor, given by NAIOP Southern Nevada.
Many brokers with Colliers’ Las Vegas office are involved in NAIOP. Suzette LaGrange, Senior Vice President in the firm’s industrial division, currently serves as a director and chair of Government Affairs-Local Committee. She also serves on the bus tour, government affairs, membership and sponsorship committees. Other Colliers Brokers involved in NAIOP include Taber Thill, SIOR, who currently serves on the bus tour committee, and Dan Palmeri, who is currently completing the Developing Leaders Institute class of 2009/2010.
Co-founded in 1993 by Managing Partner Mike Mixer, the Las Vegas office of Colliers International specializes in all aspects of commercial real estate. The team at Colliers International – Las Vegas donates a significant portion of their time and resources to charitable organizations throughout Southern Nevada. At the heart of its charitable efforts is the Links for Life Foundation, which is comprised of the Colliers Las Vegas brokers and staff serving on its board and subcommittees. The foundation’s annual golf tournament raises valuable funds that the foundation then distributes to charitable projects throughout the year. Over the last 10 years, Colliers has donated more than $1.9 million dollars to the community through its fundraising programs. The team also believes in donating time and resources to professional organizations that affect its industry. Colliers is dedicated to the mission, goals, and objectives of NAIOP Southern Nevada and the organization’s core values. Colliers and its brokers are also involved with the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Certified Commercial Investment Institute (CCIM), the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
