Associate Member of the Year
John Restrepo of Restrepo Consulting Group, LLC (RCG) was named NAIOP Southern Nevada Chapter’s 2010 Associate Member of the Year. Since founding RCG in 1997, Restrepo has directed the firm’s economic and financial consulting activities and has established the firm as one of the authoritative sources of information, research and strategic advice related to real estate and regional economic issues in the Southwest United States. He has over 30 years of experience recognizing and analyzing regional economic and real estate trends. Restrepo’s research and advice concerning economic development, tax policy and real estate markets is relied upon by some of the most prominent private and public organizations in Nevada. He has been an active member of NAIOP since 1989, and he has been involved with NAIOP on a national basis for the last 10 years. Restrepo served as the president of the Southern Nevada Chapter in 2008, and he currently serves on the Chapter’s education, finance and government affairs committees. Restrepo also serves on the executive committee as the chapter secretary. In addition to NAIOP, Restrepo is an associate member of SIOR and a member of ULI Nevada. He also serves as an appointee of the Nevada Economic Forum, which is responsible for providing two-year forecasts of the State’s general fund revenues.
