Gary Siroky, president of Las Vegas-based CORE Construction, today announced the firm recently completed construction on the WCS - Field Operations Center in Las Vegas. According to Siroky, the project involved six separate structures including a new administration building, warehouse facility, material handling building, wash bays and an addition to the existing information technology building. CORE Construction's services included complete general contracting services of all structures, new parking areas and site lighting.

Gary Siroky, president of Las Vegas-based CORE Construction, today announced the firm has been contracted by the Clark County School District to construct Del E. Webb Middle School in Henderson. The 148,300 square-foot school, located at 2200 Reunion Drive, will be situated on a 20-acre parcel of land. The single-story school project includes learning and special program centers in addition to site improvements. The project is valued at $21 million.

LM Construction Company of Las Vegas is currently completing work on tenant improvement construction projects at the former Best Trucking building located at 4610 Donovan Way in North Las Vegas. New tenants will include SAIA Motor Freight, a subsidiary of SCS Transportation, Inc., who will use the building space for a 17,599 square foot warehouse and distribtion center. The 28 door facility will also include office space for the firm. SAIA Motor Freight has 110 trucking terminals nationwide, completes more than 800,000 haulings annually, and is one of the leading regional 'less-than-truckload' companies in the United States providing regional one and two day service. In Nevada SAIA operates terminals in both Reno and Las Vegas. The tenant improvement project is scheduled for completion by LM Construction Company in late January, 2004 with a contract amount of $100,932. The building owner also awarded a $92,346 contract to LM Construction for tenant improvements for a new 19,294 square foot warehouse facility for Office Depot at the same location.

The company's office and warehouse space, located at 6180 Pearl Street, was expanded from 22,000 to 45,000 square feet according to company principal Tim Whittingham.
