NAIOP Southern Nevada Wins National Awards

NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, honored NAIOP Southern Nevada with two national awards on February 10th at the annual Chapter Merit Awards ceremony in Washington D.C.

The Southern Nevada chapter received top scores in a total of two merit categories including:

Technology for outstanding design and implementation of the chapter’s Web site, www.naiopnv.org

Developing Leaders Institute (DLI) for NAIOP Southern Nevada’s inaugural year of its program.

"I am proud of our chapter and its committees for receiving these prestigious, nationally-recognized awards," said Lee Phelps, president of NAIOP Southern Nevada. "Each award shows the hard word of outstanding members and committees, and we congratulate them."

The Southern Nevada Chapter was in the large-group category of 500 or more members and was judged for each category on a scale of 100 possible points by a panel of independent judges. With more than 800 members, NAIOP Southern Nevada is the fourth largest chapter in the nation.

The Chapter Leadership and Legislative Retreat was held February 8-11 in Washington D.C. This annual gathering provides exceptional education sessions and the opportunity to network with chapter leaders from across the country.
