DLI 2009 Class Bios

Trina Bushman

Trina Bushman is the Director of Business Development for Tradewinds Construction. She also performs pre-construction / estimating duties and functions as an Assistant Project Manager for Tradewinds Design / Build Interiors. Tradewinds is a 21-year old, locally owned and operated General Contracting and Sub-contracting firm with a diverse portfolio of work in the Las Vegas Valley.

Trina’s responsibilities include the coordination of tenant design needs from concept through construction as well as the management of Architects and Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing sub-contractors during the Design / Build process. She performs pre-construction / estimating duties for the General Contracting division of Tradewinds and identifies and secures future work for Tradewinds by building lasting relationships within the Construction, Real Estate & Development communities. Trina has worked in many different facets of the Construction Industry, for the past 8 years, from Distribution and Sub-trades to Development and General Contracting. She loves the challenges that come with the construction industry as well as the diversity and excitement of every projects unique qualities.

In addition to her duties with Tradewinds Construction, Trina is an active member of NAIOP serving on two committees (Community Service and Sustainable Development), is a current member of the 2009-2010 Developing Leaders Institute, and is an active member of the USGBC, CCIM and ULI.

Trina recently started volunteering with The Shade Tree organization as well as the Nevada Cancer Institute where she enjoys working with the community and helping others. She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and spent most of her life there until 4 ½ years ago when she moved with her husband to Las Vegas. She played fast pitch softball at Utah State University for one year then transferred to the University of Utah where she studied Psychology. In her spare time she loves playing sports, watching sports, wakeboarding, being outdoors and spending time with her family & friends.

Trina has been in Las Vegas for 4 ½ years and is looking forward to building her career and her family here in Southern Nevada.
