DLI 2009 Class Bios
Emily Sullivan
Emily Sullivan has almost 9 years in the commercial construction industry with Clark Construction Group. She started her career immediately after graduating from Virginia Tech with a BS in Civil engineering. Her first project was in Washington DC. After two years she headed west with Clark and worked on the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, CA. At the time of completion it was the largest water front hotel on the west coast. While in San Diego and Los Angeles she also worked on the SDSU Trolley Station, Caltrans District 11 Headquarters, Northridge Hospital and misllaneous other projects in the region. While in San Diego she was also very active with the ACE (Architects, Contractors and Engineers) Mentoring program with the local high school and led the San Diego High School team for three years.
Emily has been in Las Vegas now since May 2007 as a Senior Project Manager for Clark Construction. She is currently working on the Automatic People Mover for MGM and is very active in the Junior League of Las Vegas. A side from work and volunteering she loves to travel with her husband, Adam. Emily is also a LEED AP and STS Certified and looking forward to learning everything she can about commercial real estate and leadership during the DLI Program.
